What you get

A plan you can run, not a template.

There are a million ways to run a tryout. The generator plans around what you actually have — your courts, your staff, your session lengths, your age groups.

Session schedule

Who plays when, wave by wave — big age groups split into sessions, small ones share the floor without sharing a net height.

Court map & equipment

Your facility with numbered courts, net heights, and ball types per court — plus re-rig callouts between sessions.

Station rotations and game play

The same drill on every court in an age group, 15–20 minutes a slot; wristband groups keep their court and evaluators rotate on a timer — then named 6v6 games to finish. Water breaks where they belong.

Drill cards

One printable card per drill: court diagram, how to run it, what to rate. A coach who has never run the drill can start it from the card.

How it works

Three minutes to a plan.

The planner splits big age groups into sessions, keeps 12u on the low net with the lite ball while 14u plays regulation next door, fits 6v6 ranked play in only when the session can afford it, and seeds wristband groups by skill level when your staff knows the athletes.

Tell us about your tryout

Club, months, and player count are all we need — courts, coaches, age-group counts, and format preferences make the plan sharper.

02

A polished, print-ready plan lands in your inbox — schedule pages for the office wall, drill pages for the coaches' clipboards.

FAQ

Questions clubs ask.

What's inside, how the planner adapts, and what happens after the PDF. Still curious? Get in touch.

What's in the tryout plan?

A minute-by-minute schedule for every session, a numbered court map for your facility, which age groups play when, drill assignments per court with rotation timing, staffing per court, and a printable drill card for each drill — diagram, how to run it, what to rate — that you hand to the coach running that court.

Is it really free?

Yes. You tell us about your tryout, we email you the PDF, and the download link is yours to keep and share with your staff. No card, no trial, no obligation. We make Callback, tryout evaluation software — we'd rather show you we know tryouts than tell you.

How does the plan handle different club sizes?

The planner adapts to what you enter: a 60-player club on one court gets a different structure than 800 players across eight. It splits big age groups into sessions, merges small ones onto dedicated courts, sizes station rotations to your session length, and flags anything thin — like fewer evaluators than courts — with a workaround.

Does it account for 12u net heights and lighter balls?

Yes. 12u-and-under plays on a 7'0" net with a lite ball; 13u-and-over is regulation. The plan never mixes the two on one court, marks net height and ball per court, and calls out exactly when to re-rig nets between sessions.

Can I choose the drills?

The planner picks drills to cover the skills you want evaluated, and you can swap any of them before the PDF is generated — each slot shows ranked alternatives that fit the age group, court space, and time.

How should we group players at check-in?

If your staff knows most of the athletes — returning players, camp regulars — the plan seeds wristband groups by skill level, because an A-level player drilling with a D-level player frustrates both. Newcomers get their own group and re-seed after the first rotation. If most faces are new, it falls back to alphabetical groups.

What if our numbers change before tryout day?

Come back and regenerate — it takes about a minute and the new PDF arrives the same way. The plan also prints every assumption it made, so you can see exactly what to correct.

The plan is paper. Callback runs the day.

Your PDF ends with the software half: registration, check-in with wristband groups, court-side ratings from phones that work offline, live rankings, and offers — configured to match this exact plan. Free 30-day trial, no card.
